My husband and I love to travel and experience new cities and outdoor adventures. We road cycle, hike, golf and we have six adult children and two grandchildren that we visit as often as possible in six different cities. When we travel we enjoy staying in STR listings around the US and the world - taking in live music, local restaurants and different cultural experiences. This enriches our exposure to other Short Term Rentals and helps us create new experiences for our valued guests at our own properties.

We purchased our first STR in Asheville, NC in 2018 and listed it on Airbnb hoping to defray college expenses and cover the cost of a vacation home. To our amazement our STR business took on a vibrant life of its own and we were bringing in revenue well beyond our original goals. We decided to take on two more properties in Nashville, TN in late 2019. These subsequent projects were not as straightforward as the first, due to the pandemic. We pivoted several times to find the right marketing strategy. As it turns out, time and experience are excellent teachers and our Nashville properties are now thriving - one as an STR and one as an MTR (mid term rental for 30 to 90 day stays). We have since added STR's in Louisville, KY, Holland, MI and Black Mountain, NC. Obviously, we love this business... and we think you will too!

 

Taking my experience to others and supporting the STR community are the goals of my second phase of this adventure. I began consulting in 2021 and have helped hundreds of clients launch their own businesses. I am devoted to my calling of hosting, consulting, educating and advocating for the STR industry.
